In early 1999 (or perhaps late 1998), Amy and I went to Germany. It was our first time there. We travelled with Ariel and Shya, and attended a few of their workshops while there.
I hope to have this more organized some day, but here are some of the pictures I took during this trip. It is noteworthy that these were the first pictures I took with a digital camera. I'd borrowed one from Tom and Carol for the trip.
Shortly thereafter, I bought my own.
Well, not too shortly. I'd my heart set on the Nikon 950, which wasn't out yet. Fortunately, I was able to get one in time for our return to Germany, in September of 1999.
We were with the Kanes again, but my parents joined us as well. Again, we spent some time touring and some time in workshops.
Afterwards, my parents, Amy, and I bounced south to Munich. My Father's Mother is from Munich, and his Father is from Rexingen, which is in the same neighborhood if one is being relaxed about distances.
Here you can find various and sundry images from Munich. I know that I need to clean these three groups up, but I've not yet had the chance. I shall.
Here you can find images from Rexingen. This may be a little morbid, but I wanted this record of relatives.
