In taking these pictures, I've learned a couple of things. First of all, the zoom and the flash don't go together too well. Sure, this is obvious after the fact. Oh well.

The second fact is that having the negatives scanned to floppy disk seems to yield better results than having them scanned to Photo CD. I suspect that this is an issue with the conversion of the Photo CD format images to JPEG, but I'd a similar quality problem when converting to RGB for using in Photoshop.

I've rescanned these directly onto floppy, and the results are rather better. What do you think?
